Miro Daroon was a Piton Jedi Knight towards the end of the Old Republic. Like other Pitons, Miro was thin as a reed, hairless, and had pale, translucent skin and white eyes. Miro, a mechanic as well as Jedi Knight, had a deep technical background which led him to assume the job of maintaining the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, as he could fix virtually any system.

When the Temple was infiltrated by the Dark Jedi, Xanatos, Miro was part of the plan to lure Xanatos out in the open. As two decoys imitated Jedi Knights Qui Gon-Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, Miro shut down the power for repairs while the two could locate Xanatos and confront him. As the maintinence supervisor at the Jedi Temple, Miro lived a pretty easy life as a Jedi Knight, although his duty to the Jedi Knights was unquestionable, a quality he expressed through his work.
